The Fox and the Stork

Share Story

On a bright and sunny evening, a clever fox named Felix decided to invite his friend, a graceful stork named Stella, over for dinner. Felix was excited to show off his cooking skills. When Stella arrived, she noticed the delicious smell wafting through the air and her beak began to water.

However, when Felix served the soup, it was in shallow bowls that made it impossible for Stella to drink. She tried her best to reach the soup with her long beak, but it was no use. Feeling embarrassed and a bit frustrated, Stella could only watch as Felix slurped up the soup with ease.

The next day, Stella decided it was time for a little payback. She invited Felix over for dinner and prepared a lovely meal. But this time, the food was served in tall jars that were too deep for Felix’s short snout to reach. As he tried to get a taste, Felix couldn’t help but chuckle at his predicament. He jumped and stretched, but all he managed to do was knock the jars over, making a mess.

Stella laughed and said, “Now you know how it feels, Felix!” The fox smiled sheepishly and replied, “I guess we both learned something today. It’s important to treat others the way we want to be treated.”

From that day on, Felix and Stella made sure to serve their meals in a way that everyone could enjoy. They learned that friendship is about kindness and understanding each other’s needs.
