In the middle of a peaceful forest, there was a cozy little cottage where three bears lived happily. There was Papa Bear, who was big and strong, Mama Bear, who was gentle and kind, and Baby Bear, who was small and playful. One sunny morning, the bears decided to take a walk in the forest while waiting for their porridge to cool.

As they left, a curious little girl named Goldilocks was wandering nearby. Goldilocks had golden hair that shined in the sunlight, and she loved exploring new places. While walking, she spotted the bears’ cottage. “What a lovely little house!” she thought. Feeling adventurous, she knocked on the door. But no one answered. Without thinking, she opened the door and stepped inside.

The first thing Goldilocks saw was three bowls of porridge on the table. She was very hungry, so she decided to try some. First, she tasted the porridge from Papa Bear’s big bowl. “Ouch! This is too hot!” she exclaimed. Then, she tried a spoonful from Mama Bear’s bowl. “Hmm, this one is too cold,” she said, wrinkling her nose. Finally, she tasted Baby Bear’s porridge. “Ahh, this is just right!” she said happily and ate it all up.

Feeling full, Goldilocks wanted to rest. She noticed three chairs near the fireplace. First, she sat in Papa Bear’s large chair. “Oh no, this chair is too hard!” she complained. Next, she tried Mama Bear’s chair. “This one is too soft!” she said, sinking into the cushions. Then, she sat in Baby Bear’s small chair. “Ahh, this chair is just right!” But as soon as she sat comfortably, CRACK! The chair broke under her, and Goldilocks tumbled to the floor.

By now, Goldilocks was feeling very tired. So, she climbed the stairs and found three beds. She lay down on Papa Bear’s bed first. “This bed is way too hard!” she said, rolling over. Then, she tried Mama Bear’s bed. “This bed is too soft,” she sighed. Finally, she climbed into Baby Bear’s bed. “Ahh, this bed is just right,” she whispered, and before long, she fell fast asleep.

Soon, the three bears came home from their walk. They noticed right away that something wasn’t right. “Someone’s been eating my porridge!” growled Papa Bear. “Someone’s been eating my porridge too,” said Mama Bear. “And someone ate all of mine!” cried Baby Bear, looking at his empty bowl.

Next, they saw the chairs. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” growled Papa Bear. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair too,” said Mama Bear. “And someone broke my chair!” sobbed Baby Bear, pointing to the broken pieces.

Finally, the bears went upstairs and found Goldilocks fast asleep in Baby Bear’s bed. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” cried Baby Bear.

Hearing the loud voices, Goldilocks woke up with a start. She saw the three bears staring at her, and her heart raced. Realizing she had been in their home without permission, she quickly jumped out of bed and ran as fast as she could back into the forest.

As she ran, Goldilocks thought about what she had done. “I shouldn’t have gone into their house or touched their things without asking,” she whispered to herself, feeling sorry for her actions. From that day on, Goldilocks learned to respect other people’s belongings.
