A young fox overcomes fear and befriends a mighty lion, learning that familiarity eases fear.
Share Story
In a sunny meadow, a young fox had heard so many tales about the great lion, the king of the jungle. One day, while exploring, the fox finally saw the lion for the first time! He was magnificent, with a golden mane and a powerful roar. The fox was terrified and wanted to run away!
But as the days went by, the fox saw the lion many more times. He learned that the lion was not as scary as he thought. He began to feel brave and even walked up to the lion one day. “Hello, Mr. Lion!” he said, his voice shaking a bit.
The lion smiled and replied, “Hello, little fox. Why were you scared of me?” The fox chuckled, “I was afraid because I had never met a lion before.” The lion nodded, understanding how fear can fade with friendship.
Moral:
Familiarity can ease fear.
Parenting Tip: Help your child understand that fear often comes from the unknown. Encourage them to face new experiences with curiosity, just like the fox.
